The Douglas Forest Protective Association employs roughly 165 seasonal firefighters during the course of fire season.  Jobs range from Laborer I (18 years and older), County Crewperson (16-17 Year Olds), Crew Foreman, Dispatchers and Lookouts.  The hiring process takes place during the off season, primarily late winter and early spring.  Applications may be downloaded here.  Complete and return to DFPA headquarters in Roseburg.
